Every April, EPIC hosts a Volunteer Appreciation Day banquet for all the Youth Peer tutor / mentor volunteers as well as the EPIC Board of Directors and staff.
In 2009, the dinner was held at the Quality Inn in Sydney. Our great Volunteer Coordinator, Noella Fitzgerald, arranged to have a clown entertain the volunteers early in the evening. This was followed by a lovely meal, lots of laughs, short-but-sweet speeches and SO much appreciation for the amazing volunteers and the hundreds and hundreds of hours they have devoted to the youth of Youth Peer.
