EPIC creates and administers innovative educational programs for youth and adults in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Our mission is to advance marginalized learners through innovation, empathy, volunteerism, diversity and partnerships.

Our Core Program
This award-winning program, based in Sydney, NS, has been improving people's lives by providing free, after-school tutoring & mentoring program for marginalized kids 8 - 18 since 1998. Outreach programs now reach six additional communities. High school or university students serve as volunteer tutor-mentors.
